All Competitions on NE14HOCKEY.com
- 1. Only one entry per member is allowed in any of the competitions on the NE14HOCKEY.COM website.
- 2. Where personal hockey equipment is the prize it will be offered though an NE14HOCKEY.COM preferred supplier but will be the winners selected brand wherever possible.
- 3. The winner can choose vouchers instead of immediate supply if they wish. On occasions an alternative to hockey equipment may be available. The choice will always be at the discretion of the prizewinner.
- 4. Where Club sponsorship is offered as a prize NE14HOCKEY.COM will require that their Company name be acknowledged as a club sponsor by the winning club. We accept that shirt sponsorship may already be in place but we would expect acknowledgement of the support of NE14HOCKEY.COM on the club website, handbook, fixture cards, and at pitch side where possible.
- 5. Sponsorship will be for a 12-month period from a date stated in the individual competition rules.
- 6. NE14HOCKEY.COM will have the option to continue sponsorship after the initial 12-month period if both parties feel the partnership has been worthwhile.
- 7. All prizewinners agree that NE14HOCKEY.COM can publicise winners names, region and club both on the NE14HOCKEY website and, where appropriate, other field hockey related websites. Should local and national media express an interest in any sponsorship deals, this coverage is also agreed.
- 8. All winners will be contacted by e-mail within 3 days of the closing date of the competition.
- 9. Prizes will be dispatched with 7 working days of being selected and agreed.
- 10. No Directors, Employees, Associates, or their families may take part in any NE14HOCKEY competitions.
Fantasy Hockey League Premier 1,2,3
- 1. The competition is to guess the 1st 2nd and 3rd placed teams after the final games of the season in The Slazenger England Premier Hockey Leagues.
- 2. Correctly predicting the 1,2 and 3 in the Men's premier league will carry a prize of £500 sponsorship for your club and a personal prize for the individual of £120 worth of hockey equipment.
- 3. Correctly predicting the 1,2 and 3 in the Woman’s premier league will carry a prize of £500 sponsorship for your club and a personal prize for the individual of £120 worth of hockey equipment.
- 4. As a tiebreaker players have to predict the final points tally, goals for, and goals against, for each of their selected teams.
- 5. In the event of a tie after points, goals for and goals against have been taken into account then all correct entries will be put into a draw to determine the winners of the Men's and Woman's prizes.
- 6. The closing date for entry to this competition is midnight on 21st October 2007. This will allow entrants to assess the form of clubs over the first weeks of the season before making your guess.
- 7. Prizes will be awarded on April 8th 2008 after the final weekend of games. The Club sponsorship prizes will start on the 1st August 2008 and run until 31st July 2009. Individual prizes will be dispatched within 7 working days as per the general T & C's
Fantasy League - Match Point
- 1. Every weekend of the League season from September 15th to December 9th and January 19th to April 6th we will select 5 games that players have to predict the result of, and the exact number of goals scored by each team.
- 2. The games will be selected from a different region of England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland each week. So everyone has the chance to use local knowledge from time to time.
- 3. Players will be awarded 3 points for every correctly predicted result and 2 points for correctly guessing the number of goals scored by each team.
- 4. Players do not have to take part every week but the more weeks a player enters the more likely they are to qualify for the star prizes at the season halfway point and at the end.
- 5. The player with the most number of points each week will win a piece of NE14HOCKEY merchandise of their choice, up to a value of £15.
- 6. Each weekly contest will be deemed to be separate but each week will count towards the halfway and end of season prizes.
- 7. The person with the highest total of points on December 10th will be awarded the prize of £120 of hockey equipment as the halfway winner.
- 8. The person with the highest total of points on April 8th will be awarded the prize of £120 of hockey equipment and will be the season 2007/2008 Match Point Champion.
- 9. In the event of any points ties at any stage of the competition the number of 7pt games a player has scored will be used as a tiebreaker. If there are still ties all those players tied will be placed in a draw to decide the winner. Winners will be contacted by e-mail.
- 10. The first games will be played on the weekend of September 15th/16th and the last games on the weekend of April 5th/6th.
- 11. The selected games for each weekend will be posted on the NE14HOCKEY.COM website by midnight on Monday and entries must be in by midnight on Friday before any of that weekends games have been played.
Olympic Quiz Competition- Winner markmccartney
- 1. Both questions must be answered correctly
- 2. All correct entries will be placed into a draw and the winners will be contacted by e-mail
- 3. Closing date for entries is midnight on December 31st 2007
- 4. The prize is 2 tickets to the European Indoor Hockey in Sheffield or £20 worth of hockey equipment vouchers to spend with our preferred supplier RD Sports.
The £500 2007/08 Season Sponsorship Competition
- 1. Each entry must state in 20 words or less why NE14HOCKEY.COM should choose your club for this comings season sponsorship deal
- 2. The entries will be judged by a panel comprising a director and 1 independent judge without reference to any of the entrants club and personal details. This is to insure that the judging is completely impartial and based solely on the merit of the entry
- 3. The best entries in the opinion of the judges will be published on the NE14HOCKEY.COM website during August and September the final winner will be selected from one of the published entries.
- 4. The closing date for entries is midnight September 21st 2007.
- 5. We will notify the winning club the next day so that the details of sponsorship deal can be agreed and it can be put in place as soon as possible.
