Welcome to Ne14HOCKEY.COM operated by NE14HOCKEY Limited. This Agreement regulates the terms and conditions of use for the Website and the provision of the Services. By using the Website you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended or changed by NE14HOCKEY from time to time without notice to you and you should review the terms and conditions of use set out in this Agreement periodically. Your continued access to the Website means that you have accepted any amendments or changes to this Agreement.
2. Our Services
NE14HOCKEY provides users with access to a comprehensive range of on-line facilities relating to Field Hockey. Limited features of NE14HOCKEY.com are free to use. The scope and range of the free to access material is at the discretion of NE14HOCKEY.com.
Access to the secure areas of NE14HOCKEY is restricted to members and to be a member you must be 13 years or over. This age restriction is in line with National and International Child Protection Policies.
3. Membership Fees
Membership of NE14HOCKEY.com is subject to a membership fee the level of which may vary from time to time. Initially the fee to join the site from August 2007 onwards will be £5 for a lifetime membership. Individuals who acquire a lifetime membership will be known as FOUNDER MEMBERS and will not be charged any additional fees at any time in the future irrespective of the features and facilities added to the site over time.
This is our commitment to anyone who joins the NE14HOCKEY community in the early stages of the development of the website.
The Founder membership offer is time limited and we will advise when this introductory period will end. Fees from the changeover date will become payable annually.
4. Passwords and Account Security
Members will select their password and Forum tag and this will allow them to use the secure areas of the website. Members shall be responsible for the custody and non-disclosure of their password, login and account as well as of their use.
5. Conduct and Content
We expect members to only post information and discussion on the forums and blogs that is suitable for a public arena. Membership will cover the entire age range of hockey and we want the site to be fun and enjoyable. Anyone who uses the site for spaming purposes or for posting material that NE14HOCKEY deems inappropriate will have their membership cancelled and will not be allowed to re-register.
Members hereby represent and warrant to NE14HOCKEY that you have full power and authority to enter into and perform this Agreement. Members shall not upload any information, data (including match results), text, match reports, photographs, video, graphics, music, sound, software or any other materials (“Content”) that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, harmful to minors in any way, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, and/or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable. Anyone behaving in such a way will have their membership cancelled without refund and will not be able to reapply to use the website secure areas again.
NE14HOCKEY will not be responsible for pre-screening Content that is uploaded by any user of the Services. We encourage members to report inappropriate material via the e-mail contacts on the site so that we can take action against the perpetrators. Membership will cover the entire age range of hockey and we want the site to be fun and enjoyable. NE14HOCKEY has no obligation or liability for the accuracy, integrity or quality of Content uploaded by any user of the Services. You shall be responsible and liable for any Content that you upload. Without prejudice NE14HOCKEY has the right to terminate this Agreement with you, and NE14HOCKEY reserves the right to edit or remove any uploaded Content, at its sole discretion, as it deems appropriate. In respect of any Content which you upload for inclusion in publicly accessible areas of the Website (which for this purpose means the public forum boards and blogs of the Website other than pages created by registered users in their respective restricted access pages) you hereby grant NE14HOCKEY a royalty free, irrevocable and non-exclusive licence (with a right to sub-licence) in perpetuity to compile, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, (in whole or in part) and/or to incorporate it in other works or in any form or media provided it is solely relating to the subject matter which such Content was submitted to the Website.
6. Competitions
Any competition run on the NE14HOCKEY website will be subject to the general and specific terms and conditions set out on the competition pages. These will be set out on each occasion.
7. Advertisers and Personal Information
Information collected at the time of registration will only be used for aggregate demographic information and will not be passed to any third party in an individually identifiable form
Any dealings or contact with advertisers or suppliers found on the Website or through the Services, including the purchase of goods or services, are solely between you and the advertiser or supplier. You agree that NE14HOCKEY shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings.
8. Intellectual Property
NE14HOCKEY Ltd shall retain all right, title and interest in and to all copyright, trade marks, and all other intellectual property embodied in the Content and software or pertaining to the Website. NE14HOCKEY.com and the company logo or device featured on the Website is the trademarks and/or service marks of NE14HOCKEY.com and members hereby acknowledge the same.
9. Disclaimers
The Services and the Website are provided on an “as is”, and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NE14HOCKEY expressly disclaims all warranties, conditions or other terms of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to any implied term of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or any term relating to the provision of the Services to a standard of reasonable care and skill or relating to non-infringement of any intellectual property right. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NE14HOCKEY expressly disclaims any representation or warranty that NE14HOCKEY’s Services and/or its Website will be error free, timely, secure or uninterrupted or that any information provided by the Services will be accurate and reliable. NE14HOCKEY nonetheless does undertake to take all reasonable steps to ensure that the content is accurate.

NE14HOCKEY neither represents nor controls “other websites” that can be accessed or linked through this Website and, consequently, has no responsibility for the content, use, products, advertising or services that may be available in those “other websites”. Where NE14HOCKEY Ltd does own a site link this fact will be made clear.

You agree to indemnify and hold NE14HOCKEY and its directors, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim or demand (including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees) made by any third party due to or arising out of Content you upload, submit, post or transmit to or through the Website, your use of the Services and/or due to any breach by you under the terms of this Agreement.

13. Reservation/Termination

14. Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be interpreted and construed in accordance with English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
